Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.
(Psalms 33:18-19)

`Tonight’s debates are the talk of the internet. The Republicans say that President Trump was the winner. Democrats say that former Vice-President Biden was the winner. Others are still undecided, decided on not voting or voting for a third-party candidate.

If it is not happening tonight, it will happen tomorrow; your social media threads (walls) will be filled with dialogue back and forth over which candidate is best to lead the nation. However, many discussions with raise emotions instead of raising thought.

Wherever you are on this scale of voting, you need to remember that God is in control and we need to pray. While we might have our personal opinions on various political stances, let us be sure it is not taking the place of our reliance on the Father.

God is interested in the dealings of man. The reason we know this is through of His sending His Son to die for us. God knew what we needed right when we need it.

Today, God still wishes that men would come to Him and experience the true blessings.

Let us be sure we are not forgetting the One who makes it all possible.

Are you praying?

Father, tonight we bow before You with humbleness and a desire to be closer to You each day. Lord, may we open our eyes and see that You are present in the world today. From the majestic clouds in the sky, to the smallest insect, allow us to see Your workings in the world.

Father, cause us to remember the blessings of food, shelter, and clothing You provide for Your children. Help us remember that as Your children, we can look to You for our desires, answers to our struggles and our future hopes.

Father, may we always reply upon You. Be with us as the Election grows closer. May we remember You are in control.

In Jesus’ name….Amen!
