Keep praying for the election

Days Until the Election

Today, a new Supreme Court Justice Nominee was made know to the public. By now you have heard her name, but have you prayed for her?

Amid this election process, another choice is going to be made which will have an influence o our nation. This is not a choice we will make, but one of our elected officials. Those whom were voted into office will have a choice to make to support the nominee or against the nominee.

To have this matter happening as our nation as our nation moves closer to election day will add to the stress of an already decisive Presidential race.

Today, I challenge you to pray for the election, our nation and your fellow brothers and sisters.

Here is a list of things which you might remember in prayer:

  • Pray for our country, no matter who wins.
  • Pray that your allegiance to God will be stronger than your allegiance to any country.
  • Pray that the citizens of the United States will humble themselves in prayer before God.
  • Pray that peace will triumph; no matter who wins.
  • Pray that our nation’s leaders will stay grounded in truth, love and honor.
  • Pray for the elected leaders as their influence on our country is great.
  • Pray for your family.
  • Pray for your friends.
  • Pray for those who are hurting and depressed during this time.
  • Pray for the lost.
  • Pray for those who are putting politics before their families.
  • Pray for those putting politics before their Christianity.
  • Pray.

Just pray.

In the next 41 days, will you pray for the future of our country?

On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, millions of our country’s citizens will enter the voting booth and vote for candidates. While most will focus on the 2020 Presidential Race, there are several other elections going on as well. May each of us be mindful as Election Day grows closer.

“To our most Awesome God, tonight we ask for You helping hand. As our nation is in the middle of several events, help us remain faithful to You. Give us the opportunities to pray, to seek Your guidance and to follow Your Word. Father God, may we, as Your children, find peace in You. May we seek peace under the shelter of Your wings. May You watch over us. May we always seek Your face. In Your Son’s name…. Amen.”
